Titanium Alloy Powders

Titanium Alloy Powders are widely used in many industries, including Ti6Al4V Grade 5, Ti6Al4V Grade 23, CpTi, Ti48Al2Cr2Nb, Ti2AlNb, TiAl, NiTi, TA15 and many other titanium alloy materials. Ti6Al4V was one of the early materials to be adopted in metal Additive Manufacturing for prototypes and small runs of components. High strength at low density and also excellent corrosion resistance allows a broad range of applications of titanium parts. Titanium and its alloys have been used successfully in the automotive and aerospace industry for quite long time. In the majority of other engineering applications, titanium replaces heavier, less serviceable or less cost-effective materials.


Ti6Al4V grade 23 is otherwise referred to as Extra Low Interstitial (ELI) with regards to the interstitial impurity, like oxygen, carbon, and nitrogen.Ti6Al4V ELI has excellent specific strength (strength to weight ratio) which makes it an ideal choice where weight saving load structures are required. It has good corrosion resistance, it is also biocompatible, so can be used for a range of surgical and dental applications.Titanium is available in different grades, unalloyed or alloyed. 


CPTi grade 2 powder can be machined, shot-peened and polished in as-built and heat-treated states. Due to the layer-wise building method, the parts have a certain anisotropy.
